Red Clover

Scientific studies have not been conducted to explain why red clover is effective in treating eczema although it is known to be rich in isoflavones. Research has indicated that red clover has the potential to thin the blood so anyone who has been prescribed anticoagulants should avoid it.

Witch Hazel

The Native Americans used witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) for all sorts of inflammatory skin conditions. Apply a small amount of witch hazel to the affected area every day with a cotton swab or ball.
